Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Calculix collects, why, and what we deliberately do not collect. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.
Calculix is operated by Dream Blend Solutions Private Limited (brand: AjonTec), which is the data fiduciary for the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. What we never collect
The numbers you type into a calculator are not stored. They are processed in the request that produces your result and then discarded. We do not log them, do not associate them with you, and cannot retrieve them later. This applies to salary figures, turnover, tax details, bank interest, capital gains — everything.
The one exception is if you are signed in and calculation history is switched on for your account. In that case the inputs and results of calculations you run are saved to your account so you can return to them. You can delete any saved calculation, or your whole account, at any time.
2. What we do collect
Anonymous usage statistics
We record which pages and calculators are used, device type, browser and referring site. Your IP address is never stored. It is converted into a salted SHA-256 hash that rotates every day, which lets us count unique visits without being able to identify anyone or link activity across days.
If you create an account
We store your name, email address and a securely hashed password. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and cannot be read by us or by anyone with database access.
If you buy a membership
We store the plan, amount, currency, date and the payment gateway's reference number. We never see or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or netbanking credentials. Those are handled entirely by the payment gateway on their own systems.
If you contact us
We keep the message and your email address so we can reply and so we have a record if the issue recurs.
3. Cookies and similar technology

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop sign-in from working.
4. Advertising
Calculix is free because advertising pays for it. We work with more than one advertising company, and which one appears depends on the page you are reading — but only ever one company per page, never several competing for the same reader.
The companies currently permitted to serve on this site are listed on our Advertising Disclosure page, which is kept up to date as they change.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies at aboutads.info.
- If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we ask for your consent before any advertising or analytics cookie is set, and you can change or withdraw that choice at any time.
A paid membership removes all advertising. For members, advertising scripts are not loaded at all — not hidden, not loaded.
5. Where your data goes
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the site:
- Payment gateways — Razorpay, PayU, PayPal or CCAvenue, only when you make a payment, and only what they need to process it.
- Hosting — our servers and database.
- Advertising and analytics partners — as described above, and only where you have not opted out.
We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, such as a valid order from a court or a law enforcement agency.
6. How long we keep things
- Anonymous usage statistics: up to 24 months in aggregate.
- Account details: until you delete your account.
- Saved calculations: until you delete them or your account.
- Payment records: retained as long as required by tax and accounting law, which in India is generally eight years.
7. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to nominate someone to exercise these rights if you cannot, and to raise a grievance.
To exercise any of these, email info@calculix.in from the address on your account. We respond within 30 days.
Because we do not tie calculator inputs to any person, there is usually nothing personal to export or erase unless you hold an account.
8. Children
Calculix is intended for adults and for business use. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a child has created an account, tell us and we will remove it.
9. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. Payment credentials never reach our servers. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise — but we do not hold the kind of data that would make a breach valuable, and that is a deliberate design choice.

11. Changes to this policy
If our practices change we will update this page and change the revision date below. Material changes will be announced on the site.
